Syd Franklin is a rising R&B and pop-soul artist who is best known for her powerhouse vocals. stages for iHeartMedia, SiriusXM, Rockwood Music Hall, NYC’s famed Iridium, and DC’s UnionStage. After a hiatus from music, the Berklee dropout moved to LA to pursue music full-time. Soon after, her striking vocals were featured on Giveon’s “Another Heartbreak” from his 2022 album Give or Take. 

In 2023, Syd released her debut EP, All The In Betweens, a 7-track exploration of the cycles of a past relationship—the beginning, the end, and all the in-betweens. The lead single, “Liability,” became a buzzing viral hit before its official release, while “That’s What Love Does” was a breakout track emerging as a fan-favorite wedding song, praised for its timelines ode to love. Syd is set to release her sophomore EP, Jane Doe, in the spring of 2025. The concept album chronicles her journey through grief, loss, and healing. Initially serving as a therapeutic outlet, Syd hopes it can help others feel less alone and find comfort in their own struggle. The lead single “Gasoline”, has been featured on Spotify’s New Pop Picks, Vevo’s Pure Pop, and Tidal’s Pop Rising playlists.
